- Statistics: Keep track of your progress with statistics such as your current streak, number of sessions, average session length, and total meditation time.
- Log a Meditation: Even if you meditate without using the app, you can still log your meditation sessions using this feature.
In addition to these features, the Apple Watch app provides extra functionality:
- Heart Rate Trends: Get detailed information about your heart rate throughout your meditation session, including starting, ending, average heart rate, and heart rate variation.
- Background Music: Choose ambient background music or play music from your device's music app while meditating.
- Presets: Save frequently used meditation timers as presets for easy access.
- Shortcuts and Siri Watch Face: The app adds relevant shortcuts to the Siri Watch Face, allowing you to start a meditation session with a single tap. Siri will even suggest it at your usual meditation time.
- Siri Intents: Use Siri to start a meditation session by saying, "Start a 10-minute meditation with Meditate app".
- Complications: View your Mandala and daily progress directly on your Apple Watch face using complications.
- Reminders: Set daily, weekday, and weekend reminders to help you maintain a consistent meditation practice.
- Weekly Summary: Receive a weekly summary of your mindful time every Monday. The app displays trends from the previous week and provides a "Smart Goal" to guide you on your meditation journey.
- Progress Updates: Receive notifications that will help you stay on track with your daily mindfulness goal. Even if you meditate with another app, this app runs background tasks to keep everything in sync.
- Log a Meditation: Easily log your mindful minutes up to 7 days using the context menu. This is especially helpful if you are following a silence no-device meditation program
The iPhone app now supports the Widget, Live Activity, StandBy mode (along with Night Mode), providing even more convenience and accessibility for your meditation practice.
